I don't know if this is something garry would like to implement but making newpunch more "alive" would be awesome, some examples:
Live ratings: you can see when someone rates a post or comment live, see the numbers go up or down just like on discord or twitter
New posts: if you was replying on a thread or at the bottom you could seen new replies appear when someone submits one
Live reply count: updating the count on the red circle
New threads on subforums
Much more to think of, generally just QoL changes to let the F5 button live more, this will probably waste more resources on the host end.
