i've been working on making my own gmod server. But i'm stuck on the part that my port forwarding isn't working. i've tried mutiple methods to try and solve this problem.
disable firewall
opening mutiple ports
making a static ip adress
turning on upnp
used both my internal and external ip adress.
i used DMZ
i checked mutiple times if i were using the right ipv4 adress
i have connected my steam server idea with 4000 for gmod
As soon as i turn on my server there are no errors popping up. i have no clue what i'm doing wrong. I'm using a ethernet cable to gain acces to my router. if some one could help me out here because i'm new to making game server in general.
do you know what port is used for gmod?
