Welcome to the Garry's Mod Festive Rally 2017! What the hell is this? I wanted to host something different for a change. I want an event that's open for anyone to enter, fun for everyone and not entirely focused on who has the fastest car. This, is that. General Information When will it be? The main date would be December 23rd/24th, which is a weekend. For anyone who cannot make this date, you'd have the opportunity to make it up the weekend before of new year (December 30th/31st). What map? Most likely gm_coolsnow, unless someone finds a better winter map suitable for driving. What server? My own event server - IP will be posted the day of the race in here and in the Steam group. It will be passworded to prevent randoms from joining. I want to contact you for X reason Add me on Steam HERE Vehicle Information & Vehicle Rules What can I enter? Anything, with a few exceptions: Your vehicle must be festive in some way - slap some christmas presents on it, christmas lights, festive colors, have it being towed by a sled, anything! You must have between 2 and 12 wheels It must be a LAND vehicle - no, you cannot enter your airplane/helicopter/submarine ACF power only No fin No pre-made holo bodies. The exception to this is you can use one if it's based on a HL2 or CSS prop - if it's from the workshop, I'm not downloading your addons just so I can see your car. Please don't make a minmax car that goes 300 mph with no effort put into the appearance and is solely intended to win this race. Setting the fastest time isn't the goal here! Please DO make something unique! Snowmobiles, tanks, sleds, etc. are all welcome! The Day of the Race On race day, the server IP will be posted, along with the password. Here's the guidelines for what you should do once you join: Don't annoy other contestants, or make fun of their vehicles. It's Christmas, be friendly! You have 3 tries in case you think you really screwed up and deserve a re-do. Don't spawn your vehicle while people are driving. If nobody is currently driving and you want to show off your vehicle, feel free to spawn it though. Judgement Vehicles will mainly be judged on their appearance. As I said, the entire point of this event is to enter the most unique, extravagant, or generally festive vehicle you can create! Times will still be posted though, in case anyone really reallys needs to know that they destroyed everyone. Is there a rule for baseplate inertia?

Base plate inertia changes are allowed, same with wheels
