I could argue about the general upkeep being too expensive. It really is imo, and I was hoping it would go down a bit with this update. But what bothered me most about last nights' update was the timing: I have 2 stone bases, with metal doors, which suddenly demanded metal to upkeep! (which obviously was not in my cupboard! Wtf were you devs thinking doing an update like this in between forced wipes and in the middle of the night??? It's ridiculous! Shortly after the update, my bases were already degraded like 5%. I was lucky to be online at midnight to recieve the update and put some metal in my cupboard, or both my bases would've been gone by morning! I'm sure ALOT of people will come online today to find their bases been degraded severely or totally gone! Really, BAD decision!
Facepunch simply don't give a toss anymore. They'll do what they want, when they want and you can get stuffed if you don't like it.
Leave official.
Or try another game.
Miscreated always played second fiddle to Rust for me, mostly because of it's simplistic building. BUT. Since build 3.0 and the silly upkeep costs I've played miscreated a few times. It's much more fun than rust in its present state. Hopefully come the new year the chimps in charge will have dug their heads out their arses and may have done something to fix and balance this newly created mess.
yeah i got some pretty hilariously easy loot for my little solo rats nest
thanks facepunch, ez
