Idk why it seems like all official severs are just fucked up in there uptime but i have played on both US east and Canada 1 for many wipes and it seems like they always get ddosed or just go down. My base will run out of supplies after 14 hours and the server has been down for 17 hours and 23 minutes so far which is ridiculous. I can't wait to log on to having no base because helk and the bois can't keep any of their servers running above 95%.
The fucked up part is, its not completely down, people are just denied connection to it which means the TC will keep on eating resources. The number is closer to 12 hours than 17 since it went up for an hour a few times but regardless, mass number of players are going to find out their base is gone and leave the server. The least facepunch can do is just take down the server completely so TC doesnt eat up resources or roll it back 12 hours.
I talked with someone at facepunch and this is their answer:
Server was getting DDoS's and it was down for some time, we're working with the host to get everything stable agains.
Personally, I think they should fire their host provider . They have proven their incompetency many times .

People, here is a Pro Tip. Play Community servers. You of course may choose to ignore this however if you do so and come back complaining,it is your own fault.
Official Servers are for Testing
95% are un moderated and have no admin
They are laden with bugs and exploits
Hackers roam frequently
Downtime is common and frequent
