Gmod stops responding when fetching subscriptions (Question)

Over a 1000 hours on garry's mod my experience was great until I got my new pc
When I installed steam on it I downloaded gmod launched it up, working fine, joined a friend while my mods were downloading. then when I launched after it was fetching my subscriptions and it froze, I waited and nothing happened then 'hl2 is not responding' I installed gmod on my c drive then installed to it to my d drive none of them worked, I reinstalled, verify cache and it still doesn't work, I was uninstalling addons from my 'Gmod folder' and then 'some' from steam workshop, I launched gmod again it was working but the addons weren't 'downloading', please help I would really appreciate advice

How many addons have you subscribed too..?

I had 300, but before on my old pc I have loads more mods and It didn't crash, but i think I only have 147 after deleting some to try and help it run, I have a gtx 1050 2gb btw, but I think it won't crash if I downloaded mods 'outside' steam

It might be some addons that are conflicting with eachother. If you can, Remove all addons and subscribe to those that you really need.
