• Hydraulics do not have a "Toggled" checkbox

Hydraulic does not have a non-toggled/toggled option When connecting two props with hydraulics you have to press the action button again to contract the hydro when it is already stretched. When adding "Toggled" checkbox flag the player will be able to contract the hydraulics on active key release ( a.k.a The player can release the key to contract the hydraulic ). The old behavior can be done when the "Toggle" checkbox is checked ( a.k.a The player must hit the activating key again to contract the hydraulic ) The idea is for the hydraulic to have a toggled option like the motors and thruusters do. Here is a link for the github.com issue as I understand that is not an actual bug, but a feature. Hydraulics do not have a "Toggled" checkbox · Issue #3351 · Face..
all of that can be done with e2 or wire gates
Yes, that's correct. But I have a friend who is art kind a guy. a.k.a. Not a programmer. Wire is too hard for him. Besides that other tools have the toggled option. I can perfectly understand why this may not be added, if the hydraulic creator function does not include a "toggled" option ( constraint.hydraulic() ). So far I do not see this input in the function arguments, though others ( like the motor tool ) seem to have it and I have been wondering is this easy to be implement ? Guess it is more like a source engine restriction... That wold be kind of a bummer if it really is.
