There's a part in a Warhammer book where all the stuff stored on a space shipyard rains down onto the planet below, everything from cargo to superheavy tanks, and it's described in graphic detail, so i wanted to illustrate the aftermath of that The full shot is in 3k It ultimately took me several days to do this, hopping in and out of game to create more layers of stuff and adjusting things. The final thing was composited from four different shots - foreground, the mountains, the forests in between, and the crashed battleship - which i actually modelled separately just for this shot, and greeble'd it up in-game with whatever i had like some 70s Star Wars miniature: some progress shots: happy new years, let this be my fireworks show

Dang.. The scale is pretty amazing. I love how you lit the mothership with its own fire from the bottom. And your smoke is on another level.
So far my favorite of yours. It's so badass
the ammount of work you've done on this piece is phenomenal
