Hi everybody. I'm intrigued to know the opinions of you lot on the Facepunch forums.
What is your favourite CMS, and why?
(I am aware there has been a similar thread in the past, but reviving it could have been hurtful to my account!) :)
As I've probably stated in the other thread - a custom one, since you:
1. Understand it 100%.
2. Can edit it easily.
3. Can add stuff it to easily.
4. Zero bloat. Only the things you want and need.
Hmm. I might have to look into developing my own at some point. Any pointers?

I've only started seriously trying to develop things in the past year or so, so I only have a strong knowledge of XHTML / CSS.
I've dabbled with PhP, SQL and JavaScript though, too. I'm always up for a good challenge!
If I wanted a CMS, I'd probably go with PyroCMS.
I usually just use Wordpress, because it has a vast range of themes and plugins so adding a feature is rather easy.
Ah this topic again. There is no one-size-fits-all, but a combo of WordPress for simple sites and custom for anything more.
Aye. I mainly started it to get a vague idea of what other people use, so far it's proving indecisive in my case because I have no idea where to begin building a custom one ;)

I usually make my own. If a client doesn't want me doing that though I'll recommend wordpress.
