So I was thinking the other day... "Hey, I should learn a programmin language!" so I looked around and I saw C# so I figured C# was MINE!!!
Im just curious, does anyone have any personal preferences on compiles/tuts/etc?

I'm sorry, when I said 'anyone', I wasn't hoping to read the opinion of one guy with a sticky'd thread.
It's not the opinion of one guy, it's a generally held consensus.
Not to mention these kind of questions are really utterly retarded, there is no good programming language without a very specific use-case and even then the lines are blurry.

Sorry mis-read.
First point still applies.
I don't recall too many C# tutorials out there because people are still a bit iffy on making the switch. I can't recall though. I know microsoft has some good documentation on it since they are really trying to push the whole .NET thing.
Try looking at the MSDN and maybe looking up some basic tutorials on the syntax. After a while you should be able to look up and try completing some of the XNA tutorials.
When you said compiles? Did you mean compiler? If so, I recommend using Visual Studio or Visual C# because they have intellisense which is really helpful and it works very well with C#.
