I don't want to pay a ton of money so the price range should be about anywhere from 30$-120$. Thanks for your help.

Is the best way to code HTML, but I'm presuming because you've got a price range your looking for something more like dreamweaver?
I use notepadi know it is not great but is it bad?

They're both very capable editors, but having used both for long periods of times, I prefer Sublime Text 2.
- mini-map
- command palette, powerful macros
- console (not the build console, but the actual python-based editor console)
- very easy to modify and extend (again, with python)
- going off the previous point, has an active community writing interesting extensions for it, e.g: package control
- supports textmate themes
- cross platform
- overall, in my opinion, more pleasant to work with.
A lot of these things I just mentioned can also be achieved with Notepad++ extensions, so it generally comes down to personal choice. Try out both and decide for yourself.

its free though??
Sublime Text may be downloaded and evaluated for free, however a license must be purchased for continued use. There is no enforced time limit for the evaluation.
same thing as free

With some configuration you can get something like this:

It's a Django template and not really "HTML", but close enough.
Daymn sublime beats notepad++ anyday; AND it's multi-OS! Testing for a few days before purchasing.

I'm sorry, but I think it's Windows 7 only. It's PlastiQ Aero.
TextMate > Sublime Text
However, Sublime is a great alternative when on Windows!
