I have made a simple program that you can use if you have a laptop (or somehow, a full pc in your car). It is able to tell you how long it would take to travel a certain distance at an average speed.
When you open it, give it the distance (to your destination) in miles, and your average speed in mph. If you happen to slow down or stop, you can pause the timer, but if you don't know how much time you missed, you can press "Stop" to re-enter any information that should be re-entered.
This was made in Visual C#. It took a day to write.
Please tell me if the .exe itself doesn't work.
I haven't downloaded the exe, but are you telling me if I tell it I'm traveling 60mph, it'll tell me it will take me an hour to travel 60 miles?
well yes, but if you are traveling long distances this can sorta help
plus it doesn't require internet so you don't have to spend money on data rates with a phone's map app
Cars and GPS devices have this functionality built into their dashboards.
