Tide
What the heck is Tide?
Tide is an window management application created by me with a MetroUI sort-of look and feel. It's more of a learning experience for me with the Windows UI but whatever. In a sense, Tide aims to streamline window use and management. It's sorta like looking both sexy and smart at the same time. Eventually, Tide will become a component of a larger project that aims to replace and reinvent the entire Windows desktop enviroment.
What is Tide created with?
Tide was/is coded with WPF and C#. Note that Tide will run x10 better if you are running Vista/7 due to how DWM works.

Very cool idea.
Perhaps less extreme colors would be good, but of course, that depends on your wallpaper.

The current colors are the colors of Windows Phone 7, defined in the design guidelines. I'll prolly end up letting users choose their own color in addition to the current color selection.
It looks very zune-y.
I like.
I tried to rate you Programming King, but it appears garry hasn't enabled it for this section! So I rated you artistic :)
This looks pretty cool, but I can't get over how hideously ugly it is.

What do you mean? How would you change it?
So could I use this as a dock to launch Steam games from?

I would guess so, steam://launch/stuff

or steam.exe '[launch options]'
Are you going to release it?
This isn't a flame or anything, but personally I think it looks quite ugly. Its probably the solid clashing colors with no borders. I think its a cool idea, but the colors suck. No offence, its just constrictive criticism.
The tabs being differently spaced from each other makes it look sort of tacky. Otherwise I think it looks sweet.
I think it looks great! You definately need some Steam functions though!

That gave me an amazing idea. I'm going to create a program with a notify icon in the taskbar.
Right clicking it will give me a list of all my steam games so I can launch from there.
