Can somone do something for me that is REALLY simple?

I really do not know how to code mobile apps but all I need is an ios app that has a certain icon that I will give you if you want to help me and if you start it up nothing happens. ( Either black screen or brings you back to home screen) Does not really matter.

From what I've seen, it doesn't entail any coding. You just download it and drag components. It may work for your circumstances.

What kind of school assigns students to make an app that just has the correct image. Its probably to impress or trick a friend.

Couldn't you make a website hosted with a free service with said icon and pin it to your home screen? I know there is a way to add an icon for iPhones but I'm not sure how.

This is probably the only way. iOS is very restrictive when it comes to where apps originate from, so even if somebody would make an app for you, they'd have to put it on the App Store which means it needs to go through a review process. This takes time, and I doubt that the reviewers will approve of apps that simply return to the home screen. If you knew a developer in person, however, they could [url=https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/ToolsLanguages/Conceptual/Xcode_Overview/RunYourApp/RunYourApp.html]directly load[/url] the icon app onto your iPhone while it's connected to their Mac, so that would be an option if you really needed an actual app.

If you really just want the icon to show you could superimpose the icon to the background.
