Google SSL Certificate can't be verified only on my mac?

I recently just plugged my Macbook in after about a month of it being dead because my cats ate through the charger.
When I tried to go to to google.ca on it, it told me something was interfering with my connection and that it wouldn't load Google until that stopped.
This was on Chrome. Then I tried with Safari and the same thing happened.
The weird thing is it's not happening on my desktop.
Also I'm using a macbook power adapter for an old (2010) charger to turn it into the one of the newer macbook retina display chargers. I don't think that matters but my girlfriend said something about it so now I'm just thinking anything could be causing this.
Anyways, I'm fine on all my other computers it's just my macbook.
Anyone else experienced this or know anything about this?

Wrong section anyway.
This was probably due to a bad time setting.
