Well, I decided last night that I was going to learn C#. I looked at Head First C# but a lot of people say the examples don't work and stuff. I'd imagine if you knew a little C# you could fix them but I don't know anything at all. So, do any of you have some recommendations?
Take a class, most high schools have a computer science class, the one I am in teaches C#, A teacher is better than a book in my opinion.
At my school they don't have a Tech Ed class. Nor do I want to pay for a private teacher.
Programming Microsoft Visual C# 2008: The language Literally the only programming book I have ever bought. Though it's mainly higher level stuff.

Find a friend. Learn together. Another point of view is invaluable.
Head First C# I have it and all the examples have worked for me, it teaches you quite quickly and all the "broken" examples can be solved with common sense (something people in England seem to lack seeing as they watch X-Factor...) I am getting the second one (Head First Design Patterns) in a few days. Any Oriely Book is good but that is a good one for learning C#
