I need a front end web developer. I'm interested in creating a website that will serve as a lightweight forum for many topics involving electronics and software - however my specialty is programming and server admin. The website will pertain primarily to hardware modification and microcontroller projects using both the AVR and PIC platforms.
I need someone who is knowledgeable in HTML, basic CSS and has some basic artistic talent (can do basic images and logos). I'm not looking for a professional but I would like someone with some basic experience and a few pieces they can show off. I can custom design the base of the website (I have part of it done, part of it unfinished.) You'll need to build a simple lightweight theme on top of it all and a usable yet simple interface. Ideally I'm looking for a result that looks finished, yet clean and simple.
Software for the website will be a mix between custom scripts and open source works. Essentially I'm aiming for whatever is easiest and meets my needs. I'm not trying to build a very complex website, and I am trying to avoid bloated software, including CMS and bloated forum scripts. I haven't come to a final decision on any software except for the user authentication which will run off of a script I already have made (and used over the years.) Basically, I'm flexible. I have no problem modifying my own software or open source software to make the front end developers job easier and I've built simple theming systems before.
I've made several websites (mix of commercial and personal) and do web hosting for a couple of small businesses. I run servers myself at multiple locations and rent a professionally run server.
Pay is available for this job through either paypal or steam gifts. It won't be much but certainly something. The person will also be given first consideration as an admin for the website and if chosen as an admin, be entitled to a % of whatever the site makes (if it makes anything). This person will also be looked at as a longterm partner for other website jobs and many other chances to make side money.
PM me with an email for more details or leave a reply with contact information. MSN and Skype is also workable.
Need to be just a tad more specific. Can't tell if you're making you're own forum software or if you're using stuff already in existence, like VBulletin or SMF.

It's not bad reading, you're just vague in what you're doing.
Well, I got knowledge of HTML, CSS, basic PHP(which most forum scripts do use) and I have also a kind of artistic hand. Don't really have an example for the website stuff, since I'm not having a website online at the moment, but I got a deviantArt profile, which you can find here: http://torekk.deviantart.com/
If you want to discuss about this a bit more, I could also send you an website template I made like a year ago, add me on MSN(torekkNOSPAM@hotmail.de). Remove NOSPAM.

Sorry, Grammar Nazi.
also an = a, as html doesn't start with a vowel

But it sounds like you're saying a. So isn't that ok?
Depends whether you say 'ayche' or 'hayche'.
I say 'ayche', so putting an before HTML is acceptable.
