How much money have you made from programming?? - Developers

I am just wondering. How much have you made without it being your main job??

Same here: 0. If anything I lost money, because of the cost of electricity.. But it is widely known that time equals money. As such I made a few years money.

This would probably be more appropriate for the web programming section, as they can get paid for doing simple tasks.

Nothing here either. But I don't really want to. The moment programming becomes a job and not a hobby, I'm afraid it'll get boring for me.

I haven't made money, I have worked on professional programs, but they were during a class so they were free of charge.

It's hard to get freelance work because what you would do for $500 an Indian will do for a sardine

I guess I made quite a bit of money by saving on courses. I took networking in college because I'm learning programming largely on my own.

Total, about $16,000, including web programming. This year: $0 I've been releasing under nothing but WTFPL.

It was a simple website I made a year ago using only HTML and CSS. I made it sound like it was really hard to make so my friend paid me 30$ to do it. :] It was a website on his writing accomplishments. I made a website for someone else as well as set them up with a domain name and hosting for 20$ I go to a magnet school for the arts where it is easy to find people that are in need of websites and their parents have money to go around.
