I'm trying to compile a model, I've got a QC file ready to create, I'm not sure if it's the greatest QC file, but that's irrelevant, what is causing problems is that my GUIStudioMDL is unable to compile all the files it needs to. It's unable to load a file, but strangely enough this file isn't even in the QC. The program is trying to load ..\humans_sdk\male\ragdoll_pose', something which isn't even in my QC file.
What studiomodel.exe are you using as the base?
The version I'm using is the "GUI StudioMDL 2.2/Source - GUI wrapper for the Source model compiler", if I understand your question correctly, that is what you want to know right?

Well, when the studio asks for which MDL I'm going to use I direct it to the orange box MDL file because I thought using the more modern one would probably be better. Though I'm not too sure what Half life 2 was made with, so, maybe I'm choosing the wrong one. Not to mention when I try to select the path for Episode 1 and I direct it to the bin it just gives me an error message saying that 'game information could not be found in the gameinfo.txt file'

Try using this: https://sites.google.com/site/zeqmacaw/tools/crowbar
This looks like it might be useful, thanks, however, it gives me an error regarding a missing file, I've set the path to my QC, so I assume it's probably a problem with the paths on where to find the MDL and Gameinfo files. Though it's probably due to Half life 2 not being installed, can I use the Garrys mod Gameinfo.txt and Sourcemdl files instead, or do I need to reinstall Half life 2? Not to mention I can't find a StudioMDL file inside my Garrys mod files, so I'll start reinstalling Half life 2 in the event that that is what I need to do. Edit - Nevermind, turns out it's because of a code inside the actual animations folder that was causing problems, however, I guess one good thing has happened, the crowbar tool seems a lot better than GUIstudio
