I'm looking for a web developer to work closely with in creating an eCommerce site that functions roughly as follows:
- Users can register and post products with the following details
-- A thumbnail picture
-- A title and description, as well as tags and a category
-- A price
-- Upload a Digital File as the product
- A buyer can purchase the products posted from Sellers when registering.
-- Through PayPal or Bitcoin/ various Alt-Coins
-- Upon purchase they receive the download link to the file.
- There should be a simple feedback system that allows for
-- Positive/negative feedback.
-- Username prefixes when a certain bracket is reached (+10 positive feedback = [TRUSTED] John Doe)
Pre-note: I do not mind a Developer using a pre-existing platform such as Woocommerce/Wordpress Etc., as long as it works as stated above.
I can handle every aspect of the design, I just need the back-end up and running.#
My budget is between $100 and $150, feel free to get in touch with an offer and I'll consider your application.
Cheers
That's generally a lot more expensive than $150..
Unless you find someone super desperate the best you will get is probably $60 an hour and it may take many hours to complete.

I'd say at the very LEAST $1000.
Yeah, I agree with you completely, but that's why I was hoping to find someone who has experience with WordPress/Woocommerce/Shopify etc. and can just create the functionality I require ontop of one of those platforms to greatly reduce the workload (and therefore, the price).
I've got a few offers on various freelancing sites, but to be honest I'm hoping to get a native English speaker who I can communicate on a good level with.
I wouldn't trust anyone on large freelancer sites with cryptocurrency-related projects. At least they have 10+ years of experience with PayPal, but cryptocurrencies are complex and you probably won't get a secure system if you go with them, at least for that portion.
Thank-you for your concern, but when I mention the cryptocurrency aspect I just mean a payment gateway, there are quite a few sites that handle it for you (similar to the way PayPal does).
You are not going to get this done right for $150. If you're planning on handling people's money (and if you're making an ecommerce site, you are) you need to work with someone who really knows what they are doing, and those people are not going to do a project of this scale for $150.
Get eCommerce script; learn how to use it; have fun.

You mean all those high quality, secure eBay clones with cryptocurrency support?

I've messed with them before - they're garbage, often insecure, often broken, often unsupported by anyone, and a waste of your time.
