I love web development, and websites. So I have this question what do you prefer: Social Networks (facebook) or Forums (facepunch)?
I personally think forums are better because they actually help me with problems I might have with code, or just plain interesting discussions.
They are 2 different things?
Facebook is for 13 year old girls to moan and post 1 liners
and Facepunch is for specific things.
Well of course forums are going to be better than that, it's what they are made for.
It's pointless to compare them that way. If I want to know what my friends are doing/if anything is happening in class, the social networks are good at that. If I want to talk about my favourite video games, I use a forum

fixed.

I would like to add that Facebook is a very good social media, meant in the way that I can still be in touch with people I haven't talked to in 5+ years. I recently got in touch with some friend I haven't talked to in years because of it.
Aaand now for the girl part. They usually don't post one-liners. As I've seen it, it's usually a weird quote put onto a image, or they add it themselves. Usually just copy-pasted from some other person.
