I was wondering if there was a way to set up a web data base from my companies inventory list. The problem is that the service techs need to be recording the part number from a specific supplier we use, because of a new inventory tracking system we are setting up. Most of the time they don't to go in look through the suppliers catalog for the part number, the supplier catalog has about 90k items in the book. Our supplier gave me a excel sheet of all the parts we have bought from them, which lowers this number to about 25,000 different items. In a couple of week I will have a server set up will allow the techs to log in and submit there work there and view previous work orders. I was hoping I could set up the data base there and then have them view it a web page format. I would like to do it this way so I could be able to up date the parts list and have the changes be available for all the techs. Most of which aren't the swiftest when it comes to using a computer.

I know for a fact that some private game server website CMS's have store addons that allows an admin to add items to inventory and players have to logon to so they can shop.
Usually the donate through paypal or the server has some sore of vote points reward system on it, but the principle is the same in is basics
