I've got a website which I want to host which is only 320kb at the moment. I need to buy a domain and host it. Is there a service that will let me do this very cheaply?

$10/yr for hosting.

Their domain names seem a bit expensive. Do you have a recommendation on where to get the domain if I use them?

But that's double the price. :(
Domain names are anywhere from $7 to $15 (.com)... I don't think you'll get much better than that.

I'm sure there's others.

£2 for a .eu
£3 for a .co.uk

Go to the GMF and look for my thread.

Do you use all the bandwidth lithium provides? Of course you don't.
uk2.net are cheapest for .com
£5 or something
You could just get a .cc.co domain or whatever it is. They are free. Doesn't seem like you need a fancy domain if you have such a tiny site. But what do I know.

Does it matter? At least it's there.

vs-hs.com
€7 for a .com domain a year. That's 9 USD I believe.

It boils down to the general "don't do stupid shit" though. You'd be fine otherwise.

The site's security certificate is not trusted!
You attempted to reach cpanel.kerplunchosting.com, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Google Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications. You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.

It's been like that for several months. I've emailed them about it MONTHS ago and they still haven't done anything about it.
I think I'll go with Lithium Hosting and 123-reg. Seems like a decent combination. Thanks for all the help guys and sorry JWJ for not using Brohoster. I've always been a fan of it, but even with the discounts Lithium seems to work out cheaper in the long run.

Actually, I changed my mind again. I'm gonna go with BroHoster. Thanks bros.

Ok, let me try again:
Host from home, use a dyndns domain. (Cost was super effective)

use Zymic with .tk (DNS)
If hosting at home use no-ip
You can also use www.cz.cc
