i want to learn programing but i am afraid that i wont be able to learn it myself
if any one can help me i would be very grateful
Step 1. Spell correctly.
Step 2. Use correct grammar.
Step 3. Realize that programming usually defies all of the above.
I'd suggest learning Python first, then moving up to more advanced languages ( i.e. C++ ). If you feel you really can, though, you can go straight to a more advanced language. That's what I did, but I personally feel that it was a mistake.
Python usually defies most programming languages. Start with somthing like C++/Java, something that involves strict typing(where you have to say Computer, this is a number, not a string.)
Good languages to start with:
Java
C/C++
C#
Bad:
Any form of Assembly
Any kind of Basic
Anything that does too much work for you

Usually? What programming language uses correct grammar?
Grammar is nearly the same as syntax

Erm, mostly.
[editline]Why do I have to put something here?[/editline]
More on topic, I would recommend a language not entirely unlike Python. Perhaps C++ or C# or something. Having to declare your types and work with pointers seems to make people much better at understanding what they are actually doing.
It's no use learning a high level language like Python if you don't know how it all works low level. I'd say start with C. Simple and powerful.
But if you have a very low tolerance of pain or stress, then programming isn't for you.

I am also trying to learn to program but I am having no luck finding a good C# tutorial online.
Does anybody know of one?

If you are going to start with any C based language, in my opinion C# is a good start.

C# isn't C based. It just has a C in it.

Spell pubic instead of public.
Fuck everything over.
C# isn't C based. It just has a C in it.
The C in C# isn't just there because it looks nice. It's there due to the fact that C# uses a C-style syntax.

Uh, no. See dag10's reply.

Yes it is.
I've been wanting to learn programming as well. I know a bit about HTML, and I'm just starting to learn some PHP, but I want to get into actual software programming.
How is C for a startup language? What about tutorials from this guy? http://www.highercomputingforeveryone.com/

No it doesn't. Python is a great language to start with.
