• Good program for Java programming?

Yet another thread where I ask things about Java. A lot of things I need help with. This time, I need a good program, and believe me, I have searched a lot. I currently have JGrasp but I find it quite annoying to use compared to other programs. I found this other program called Eclipse, it's really great but.. recently I had to reset my pc because of my internet fucking up and whatnot (long story) and Eclipse broke because of this, funny how it isn't even a program you install. It was really great, you typed a part of what you wanted and it would show you a list of options and whatnot. Anyway.. so it died and I can't fix it, no matter what I do. So.. I was wondering if there are any other good alternatives out there apart from JGrasp. I bet there are, but I can't find them. I really wish I could fix Eclipse, it was just what I wanted. It was perfect.. I couldn't find anyone with a similar error either. Bet I am the only one stupid enough to get it. Any help is much appreciated.
I got that error when I used eclipse. Fuck it, I say! Just use NetBeans.
I would say either try NetBeans or reinstalling the JDK. [editline]09:09AM[/editline] Actually, yeah, I think your Java installation is out of date. I keep seeing requiredJavaVersion = 1.5

Thanks, but first I really want to try and fix Eclipse.
I would say either try NetBeans or reinstalling the JDK. Hm.. so what you are saying is that I should go and download Java SE again?
I use(d)* NetBeans *Because I don't use Java anymore
