Portal Page for My Community - Developers

[URL="gmod.novabox.org"]gmod.novabox.org[/URL] Opinions or Tips? This is like my second or third webpage that I've made. I used some fog & ash/snow assets from codepen.io, and the authors are respected in the source code with comments, along with the license. The only problems I've had with it is a bit of lag on the very first loadup, but cache + cloudflare helps the later loading times. Thanks. (also the code is a bit messy but that's my fault for some things from code.io not matching up with my style.)

It's neat and all, however the ENTER the forum button was a little unclear. I'd mark it more clearly. And perhaps write a little more about the community on the page as well.

I don't understand why you'd even want a button that says "Enter our website". It makes your website a lot less user friendly. The more clicks people need to take to get to the content, the more it annoys them.

I don't see why you would start a file download when the user enters the site. Also, the website is [B]very[/B] laggy. I'm getting like 5-10 fps, and I don't see the reason why anything would be so important that you'd affect the performance.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm probably going to be adding a small navbar at the top that allows you to go to several links, and gather some information.

You may want to consider making the peeps scale down, as if the screen size is too small it'll cover up the "Enter Forums" link entirely, Personally I'd just merge them into the background because no one will really see the guys moving away from each other anyway. (As in not many people resize their browsers constantly) Also I'd get rid of the fog/smoke/snow, they're not worth it.

I like that all the people are separate images so I can drag them around the screen in chrome and generally act like an idiot. Otherwise yeah, I don't see the point of an "Enter Website" button, just go to the website.
