Never had this problem before until a couple weeks ago. Now I'm finally annoyed of it and want it gone. On regular bootstrap web themes I see the default font looking nice. Now it's either my computer, browser, or the new version of bootstrap that's giving me this shit: If anyone has a fix for this let me know ASAP. I'm literally | - | that close from snapping my web design laptop in half. P.S. All my own laptops work fine except this shit. I downloaded a good amount of fonts from http://dafont.com so is that the possible problem?
that happens when that page you're running is running off of file:// and you're trying to get styles from 3rd party websites.
that happens when that page you're running is running off of file:// and you're trying to get styles from 3rd party websites.
I can load fonts from google webfonts and other websites just fine using file://
I can load fonts from google webfonts and other websites just fine using file://
But I'm quite sure you shouldn't do this. Why load external resources using file:// and not http://?
I'm not loading anything with file://. But there's another problem with that as well. I cant open file:// due to this stupid ass webssearches.com bug. Impossible to uninstall.
But I'm quite sure you shouldn't do this. Why load external resources using file:// and not http://?
I can load google fonts using http:// or // inside a local HTML file opened using file://, he was implying that it caused problems.

Then another way would be through the console to look for any errors of anything not loading. Just gotta trace your way through
due to this stupid ass webssearches.com bug. Impossible to uninstall.
This could be the reason. Often, that kind of malware will fuck with your browser and display extra ads, put ad links everywhere, etc. Wouldn't be surprised if one of their effects was forcing a font on it.
Well it's displaying this shit in all browsers an the uninstall steps on the i start.webssearches.com homepage are outdated
Well it's displaying this shit in all browsers an the uninstall steps on the i start.webssearches.com homepage are outdated
if you can't uninstall, you might want to format your computer and install http://unchecky.com/ to make sure it never happens again (assuming that this came from some installation with shitty 3rd party apps)
Well it's displaying this shit in all browsers an the uninstall steps on the i start.webssearches.com homepage are outdated
well yeah, no virus ever tells you how to uninstall itself :v: Here's a guide that could help you. Condensing it: Control panel uninstall programs, search for webssearches and if anything there, uninstall; remove all suspicious plugins from *all* the browsers installed in your computer; remove that URL from the homepage of all the infected browsers, and remember to choose the Custom... installation checkbox next time.
Never mind I fixed it. Although webssearches still does look like a potential threat... My problem was downloading a new Helvetica font replacing the default one and fucking up my computer. #FuckYouDaFont Thanks for the help guys!
