I do 65 (somehow managed 75 on my last try) and I make very few mistakes.
No touch typing.
The test is flawed. It's just random words.

I attempted to get into touch typing a few years back, but have ended up reverting to a mixture of one and multiple finger typing. For most things I just move my hands around the keyboard, but with other keys I hit them with strange fingers.
This does remind me I should probably type properly though, and get back into it.

The point is comparing to others. Even if it were proper sentences it still wouldn't be as fast as you usually type since you type as you think, instead of as you read.

My brain makes me type 'phonetically', that is: I'll go to type something like "apple" and wind up typing "applied"...

Ignoring all the misspellings I was correcting, I kept starting to type the word that [I]should[/I] have followed, like "the" or whatever.
