What would you like to see in a batch HTTP downloader?

I was thinking about making one, so I'd like to know what features you'd like to see in one.

Download schedule
Download subdivision (downloading multiple parts of a file at one time)
Browser integration (maybe)
Easy pop-up interface

If I wanted a batch downloader I'd use wget because it's easy to automate with it via the commandline and through its winding set of options. How will "batch" work in your case?

I'm not really sure. What do you suggest? Should I use wget as a base for my program?
