Is there any free web hosting sites that would let me practice php?

I would rather just go to a free web hosting site to practice php than install it into my computer. Does anyone know of one that supports php?

You'll have better luck in the web development section.

But installing it locally is probably a better choice when you're developing, try XAMPP, it's just a few clicks and you can start using it.

I kind of figured. I just thought that since php is scripting language and not markup it would be better placed here.

Not if you're trying to build a fully-developed website. They start blocking you from your website if you access it several times (even if you have tons of bandwidth left) and their support is terrible.

I would recommend [url]http://zymic.com/[/url] for free web hosting, but [url]http://wampserver.com/en/[/url] for testing it on your computer.

Yeah, Zymic is great. It even supports SQL.

For testing, I would say get WAMP as you wouldn't have to upload it to test it.

For free hosting I'd say x10hosting, as I got the unlimited deal for free because of a website bug. :buddy:
