So my pet project [url]www.tldrlegal.com[/url] has like a bazillion backlinks. Webmaster tools keeps track of a lot of them, but Google seems to not find any nor does yahoo, bing, etc. etc.
My page rank 0 makes me cringe. Does it usually just take a while or am I doing something wrong?
Also, webmaster tools seems to love the site and a bunch of stuff is SEO friendly (although there could be some improvements). However a lot of the page results that used to be #1 on google evaporated. I can't even find it with the link: filter.
Any ideas?
Here's some SEO guidelines that I followed:
Keywords in title, description, body and URL.
301 Redirects
Nice index and sitemap to all pages
Submitted sitemap to google
At least 1 paragraph of unique content per page
Anyone have more SEO tips to add? Maybe we can put together a guide.
How long ago did you add the site to webmaster tools?
PageRank only updates every few months and if pages suddenly dropped off then you're sites probably going through the Google Dance.

About a week or two ago. Webmaster tools seems to find all the backlinks while Google does
