So yes, I started learning it, and just wanted to know what all the people here thought. For reference, I used Common Lisp: A Gentle Introduction to Symbolic Computation, Land of Lisp and Practical Common Lisp, all amazing books I would recommend to everyone.
Particularly, this is more about Common Lisp than Scheme and the other more mental-masturbation-oriented (So to speak) Lisps.
Yeah I had to learn scheme in uni about 3 month ago, hated it, and still hate it.
Lisp is pretty cool, and was where a lot of the nice features we're enjoying in languages like C# came from.
Even Kari was influenced a fair bit by Lisp :wink:
