After having read "[url=http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1035481-Intervention]bladerunner627[/url]"'s thread about how there's about 1 page of content for every 10 pages of crap in the WAYWO thread I though it would be best to start a chat thread for us to vent our random thoughts in here instead.
Ok so im not one to talk, im usually posting random questions in the WAYWO. I will usually try to restrain my self as much as possible but the odd bit of randomness does manage to get into the thread, but this is mainly because I consider you guys friends and there fore I want your opinion.
Anyway hopefully this will work and we can keep the WAYWO a content only thread
Just want to make this clear, as I think this is the general consensus on what is okay in the waywo:

There's a ton of ways to use IRC in-browser.
By which I mean about 2 :v:
Browser IRC plugins (there are enough of them) and browser-based IRC clients.

I used to use Mibbit when I lived on campus since they blocked the IRC Ident protocol.

Does anyone know what the best VNC software is? thats compatible with Linux and Windows.
As i usually like to do all my stuff on my laptop in my living room but i run linux so next month when i start with XNA i will have to use the desktop.
So my idea was to control the desktop from the laptop in my living room just because i can.

Works in linux though you will have to go with the 1.3 version. No idea what the differences between 1.3 and 2.x are though
