• Reliable hosting needed

Anyone know a rock solid reliable host running cPanel? I run a review site, which has now got to the stage that companies like Three are actually posting the reviews on their product pages. I have had to transfer hosts three times due to them either flying away, losing my files etc and I cannot afford for this to happen at this stage. I need it to be constantly up, fast, accessible. Any ideas?
You could try Lithium Hosting https://www.lithiumhosting.com/ I have never used them myself but I hear good things about them. [editline]25th April 2011[/editline] and they have a trial period of 30 days.
Amazon?

Get a VPS from a solid provider like Fanatical
Lithium. You don't need a VPS.

Sure many others on here buy from them too, I have no complaints.

Don't, buy the 5$ unlimited everything hosting from xenonservers.com, they are extremely reliable, and i have had my website with them for over a year and 1/2 now and its got 100% uptime, except when they lost power like 1 time and it was down for about 5mins If you don't mind, use my referrer link http://www.xenonservers.com/clients/aff.php?aff=287

Not only will it be able to handle traffic better than shared hosting if it is set up correctly but it will also be rock solid. I personally use linode.com for my vps and I have had 159 days solid uptime (that is when I originally bought the node). Fanatical vps is of course a valid choice too. The benefit of a vps is you can scale it up with the more traffic you get. Eventually you may need a dedi but not at this stage. The downside to having a vps is you have to set up everything yourself and it will not have cpanel unless you buy a cpanel licence and install it. Though there are plenty of people in here including myself that would give you some pointers to get you started.
Have a look at this list: http://webhostinggeeks.com/
Have a look at this list: http://webhostinggeeks.com/
How about no?
Have a look at this list: http://webhostinggeeks.com/
That's not a list of the best, that's a list of the highest paying affiliate accounts. There's so many sites like that making a shit-tonne of money recommending only the most popular hosts, simply because they pay insane prices for new clients (like $140/signup for a $5 shared account). [editline]27th April 2011[/editline] Definitely a good niche to start a site in though!

From what I've heard, cause I never gave money to any of these...
I think BlueHost is the only decent one in the list... Sorry, forgot to mention I already use VPS's - the hosts of which are what are being unbelievably unreliable. I will check out Linode HTF thank you.

why not get a small and cheap debian dedi? it's not really hard to set-up and you're independent
Linode are fucking fantastic.
Sorry, forgot to mention I already use VPS's - the hosts of which are what are being unbelievably unreliable.
Linode does not include or offer cpanel but you can get a VPS license at buycpanel.com for $15 a month.
There are also decent alternatives to cPanel such as Kloxo which is free.
There are also decent alternatives to cPanel such as Kloxo which is free.
People who use VPS don't really need a control panel, and kloxo is alright but they need a web designer for their control panel.
I use cPanel as WHM takes out most of the time I would usually need to configure the server and perform tasks like compiling PHP, it will also let me suck over the site completely from my other server with no effort.
