• HTTPS SSL cert question.

Hey all, long time facepuncher, but don't post often. I have a server and when I access cpanel I get the whole "this website may be malicious." I have done some google search and found some free ssl certs, but they still show the warning (or I'm using them wrong). I did some more research and found that the only certs that won't show that warning have to be signed by a Certificate Authority. Now I'm too my question(2): 1. Am I wrong and there's another way to remove this warning? 2. It's there a free option to remove this warning? I have 4096-bit cert. That's guys, Rymn Edit: I know I can install the certificate into my browser. I want to host others and don't want to rewrite everyone to install my certificate.
You can get your Cert Signed here for free: http://www.startssl.com/ Validates on most browsers.
As long as you know it's your server you're accessing, it should be fine. The browser you're using just doesn't recognize it and these free certs are probably used for malicious websites in the first places.
You can get your Cert Signed here for free: http://www.startssl.com/ Validates on most browsers.
I've tried that site with no luck :( but then again maybe I'm installing the cert wrong.. Do you have a good tutorial? I've tried a couple with no luck.
Assuming you're using Apache, http://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-installation-apache.htm
