Hello Facepunch,
This saturday in The Hague Netherlands there will be a big Starcraft 2 tournament with international pro-gamers, this will be the first large scale Dutch tournament to also be broadcasted on a professional level. During the tournament we have to display commercials from our sponsors but seeing the same ad over and over again can get really annoying.
Since this is the very first tournament on this scale it has take a lot of effort and months, months of preparing this story is the same for developing a game as a new company or all on your own. Because if this we want to fill the commercial break (when the crew is eating) with trailers / gameplay from games that have independent developers.
The tournament will be broadcasted to our partner [url]www.twitch.tv[/url] and also broadcasted on multiple websites, there will also be a 400 man live crowd. This should be a great opportunity to get some free exposure for your game.
[B]So how does it work?[/B]
There isn't any catch to this story all you have to deliver is a trailer and a short motivation/information about the game, put all the information in a email and send it to christiaan.dscl(AT)gmail.com (we're having some email issues so this would be the best way to guarantee it will arrive)

Length: Under 2 minutes (we won't kill you if it's a bit longer)
Format: 1920x1080 Preferably @ 20mb/s bit rate
Encoding: h.264 mp4
Additional info: A short motivation and information about the game
Additional info2: We can't stream copyrighted music and or video (if you don't hold the copyright)

The event will be held this saturday (June 1st) you can tune in live at [url]www.twitch.tv/dscleague[/url] The tournament will run from 10:00 to 23:00 CET. I have 2 blocks of 30 minutes that I can fill with video's.
Block 1: 13:45-14:15
Block 2: 18:45-19:15 (right before thee Grand Finals)

If your video is accepted ill send you a email letting you know and you can expect to see your trailer appear in front of thousands of people across the world!

Although I'm working on a game, it's still early to think about this but I just wanted to say it's a great initiative! Wish I had an opportunity like this again in a few months :v:
