This is based on Jessecar96's [URL="https://github.com/Jessecar96/SteamBot"]SteamBot[/URL]. Unlike others, this one isn't a trading bot. Feel free to add her to your friends list and start talking to her. All messages are relayed to Cleverbot for extra hilarity.

I'm running it on a Linux VPS using Mono so it's running 24/7.

That reminds me: That CleverOmegle chat thing posted a while back had a deactivated link to a bot that could fake being human with a pretty high success rate (above 50%). Not much learning though.

I wonder if it's possible to combine learning with a more rigid framework to create a more coherent but still mutable bot.

It was just a relay to CleverBot, though I remember adding a bunch of other online chatbots too (with the help of voodooattack). I still have the source files lying around, I'll upload them to a repo when I get back to my PC if people are interested.

Possibly. I'm constantly making improvements to it. As you may have noticed, the bot will sometimes send you a message first if it's "bored". It can now "play" games as well!

I activated the other bots in the source, but I don't think I have it any more. I'd like to see it because the site had info on how to make these bots.

All conversations are logged, yes, but you'd be surprised what kind of responses Cleverbot can give you.

EDIT: There are also preset responses or a random Cleverbot one that a bot can send you if you don't talk to it. It also randomly goes into games every 3 hours.
