Garry's Mod - How to fade from one animation to another.

The question is fairly simple and is as follows in the title: Is there a way to fade from one animation to another in Garry's Mod.

I have an addon in the works at the moment and I would like a way to go from the ACT_VM_PRIMARYATTACK straight into the ACT_VM_IDLE without cutoffs.
Any help is appreciated and would assist me greatly.
