What should you do if your post in the "What do you need help with" has been buried?

Sometimes when i post in the "What do you need help with" Megathread my questions get buried. What is "allowed" to be done when something like that happens? Can i just repost it or do i have to snip the old post or something? I really dont want to do something wrong lol.

Just quote it, but only if it is buried at least one page behind or was the last post of the last page

If it's specific enough, you could always try with Stack Overflow, or elsewhere. Sometimes, maybe there is no one here who knows how to solve it.
