Hey hey. Found a way to extract models from Wildstar. Some of them are a little broken (i.e. the female Mechari have a hole in their chest for some reason), but I though I'd share them for anyone who's got the know-how to apply textures to the models - and to work UV-maps. Anyways. What's in the folders/.rars; [QUOTE] - [b]Character[/b] - All character-races. Note that they come in "parts" - "Body", "Head" and "Accessories" (ears, jewellery, etc). Also contains a folder called "Eshara" that contains nothing but textures... I got to talking with him, and after a while, I found a tool that let me rip pretty much all of the models from the game. It was quite a hassle, though, because the mass-export function ported the raw .m3-file, which I don't think there's a script to use yet... And when I finally managed to get him an .OBJ-file of the Mechari female, it had a hole in its chest. >.> Anyways. He asked if I could rip the rest of the playable races, too, and I did. Took a while, but ah deed eet... Only to find out that the UV-maps are either broken or somehow unusable. I don't know much about modelling, so I only know what he told me. They are literally 1/10th of the size (from 8GB+ to just under 900MB). Of course, no password is required to open them.
