Please let me know if this isn't the section to post this in, I couldn't think of another place. I've been trying to understand how hardware morphs work by reading what's on the developer wiki. But there are a lot of things that I don't understand and I have nobody who can clear things up for me. I need to know where exactly is my .lua supposed be located and The biggest issue I'm having now is that I have no clue how to open dmxedit. I can't even copy and paste anything into the command prompt before it disappears. EDIT: Okay, now the issue is a bit more clear. I tried running a test model through dmxedit with a .bat file and I keep getting this error saying "C:\Program is not recognized as an internal or external command" Does anyone know what I should do about this?
You sir are in luck! The people that did the Elizabeth port to SFM released full documentation on HWM authoring using blender as well as the associated source files; the content is rock solid if you are up for some reading. If you stil lwant valve flex shape lipsync but want to do it the old fashioned way using L4D era FACS (which is still a solid and simpler that bypasses dmx entirely), I've written about the subject, and have posted source files of my own.

Okay, now I kind of know why dmxedit isn't running for me, I have to know how to fix it.
