hey im soon getting gmod and me and one of my friends is planning a sketch sereis and im wondering if anyone will be willing to do me a couple of charcter models

I know someone already made EVA 01, but I can't remember who did it, or where it can be downloaded. It was in a pack of random models. Hopefully someone else can remember more.

What this thread is about is finding those two models for JPIC here. One is already made, I just can't find where it's at.

Wait, what? If it's for gmod, it's already in the right format. If it isn't for gmod, or at least for Counter-strike or TF2 or something, you won't be able to put it in gmod without a significant amount of work.
What game is the model you found for?
theyre rips from defiance and theyre all obj files and the textures are dds
Those aren't compiled. You'll need to find someone willing to do that for you. You can try yourself, but it's not exactly something a beginner to modeling can do. Besides the fact that it might not be optimized for game usage.
I'm still looking around for that EVA 01 model, but I'm having no luck.
From what I understand you would have to rip it, then re-add the material and compile it... Or something like that, anyway, it apparently can also be REALLY difficult and complex (There is a Starfox Krystal one they've been trying to get working for 2 months now). I don't know for sure, but I'm still pretty sure you won't be able to do this your self if you haven't done this before, or don't have a lot of help.

Hang on, looking back over it, you said it's already ripped, with textures. Most likely, it lacks rigging, which is extremely difficult (there's a great model that's been waiting for someone able to do that for several months now). If, by some miracle, it's already rigged, the job becomes significantly less impossible. You would still have to export it into SMD format, set up a proper .qc file, and convert all the textures into .vtf/.vmt.

i found some software that will convert the model into smd ad i should be able to find something to convert the textures and by the looks of things the models could be rigged already
