Most of the people in the world are dumb... I honestly don't get those assholes that beg for a PM everytime a new ragdoll is released, did they even know how hard was to make it even a ragdoll?
I believe shotgunguy made a thread on how to easily make player models, it entails renaming the bones and re-positioning them slightly.

No, it's because of the fact that the uploader for that submission on the workshop clearly stated that they won't make playermodels, and coming here to beg for them honestly won't change that. Playermodels are rather pointless if you're just going to use them in a private game/server by yourself, as you will rarely ever (if ever) see yourself running around as that character while playing. It has nothing to do with being assholes.

Actually, he requested a player model, people decided to be assholes, and now anyone that requests something completely shitty is considered SMART and AMAZING. It's not even a poor assumption on my end either, if people request something why rate it as dumb? Because it's actually a good idea or just the fact these primitive minds can't handle something modern?

Again, it has nothing to do with being assholes. As it clearly stated on the workshop page, the uploader for that submission clearly stated that they won't make a playermodel for that character; that's a rather common thing around here when considering the fact that a majority of people only use a custom playermodel when playing by themselves or with a few friends in a private game/server. Since that doesn't really put the playermodel to any actual use outside of a private game between a few people, most people around here that actually make ragdolls don't (and won't) bother with making playermodels as well. There's also the fact that a lot of models aren't even on the same skeleton that's used by playermodels, and most of the people requesting playermodels usually don't even ask whether it's rigged to the Valve skeleton or not. Instead, they automatically ask (or demand, as seen on quite a few workshop pages) for a playermodel to be made. Not all models are capable of being turned into a playermodel without putting more work into the model than what was already put into it before the model was released as a ragdoll, and a lot of people that make ragdolls usually don't want to bother with completely re-rigging a model to make it functional as a playermodel as well.

So asking for something that hasn't been ripped/extracted/created before or asking for improvements/help with improving a model is completely shitty and asking for playermodels (which LITERALLY happens every other day) isn't? I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing the logic here.

No, your assumption IS a poor one because you're trying to base it off of your own personal opinion about the community here. If people rate it dumb, it's either because A) the post in question genuinely is dumb or B) the people stamping it as dumb just have their own personal opinion on the matter. Funny thing about opinions; they usually never coincide with someone else's perfectly.

Playermodels honestly AREN'T that great of an idea when considering the statements I've made before, nor are they really that modern (pretty sure custom player models have been around for a while with other Source games as server-side models). And I don't see how calling other people assholes for not wanting to make playermodels and then further insulting them by saying they have primitive minds does anything to further your side of this conversation. In fact, you're actually making [I]yourself[/I] seem like the asshole in this situation.
Alright maybe I am being a bit of an asshole.. I just need help getting the damn thing out of the t-pose. I set it up as a player model and it's stuck in T-pose.

Yes, every now and then someone ask me to make playermodels, someone even go as far to say that "playermodels is what people want" almost saying that my work on ragdolls is useless, fuck what people want then.

I bet OP is the kind of person that spams the comments sections of ragdolls for someone to make it a player model or SNPC where the uploader specifically asks people NOT to request player models or NPCs.
Anyways, go look up the player model thread in the forum and start reading. If you REALLY 'need' a player model that badly, you can take the time out of your busy schedule to learn how to do it yourself.
There's always these kind of people in my workshop items...
