Is there anyway to convert gmod models to put it into 3ds max? Like to somehow decompile it to SMD?

how did u do that?
You need to download source SDK from steam
then download [url]http://www.chaosincarnate.net/cannonfodder/cftools.htm[/url]
and put the decompiler into:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\sourcesdk\bin\ep1\bin
then launch the decompiler and your ready :)
