The model I currently am working on has this bone structure:
0 "ValveBiped.Bip01" -1
1 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Pelvis" 0
2 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine" 1
3 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine1" 2
4 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine2" 3
5 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Neck" 4
6 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Head" 5
A model decompiled from valve has this bone structure:
0 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Pelvis" -1
1 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine" 0
2 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine1" 1
3 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine2" 2
4 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Spine4" 3
5 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Neck1" 4
6 "ValveBiped.Bip01_Head1" 5
Is there any way I can delete the Bip01 bone from the first structure without deleting the entire structure?
In Milkshape you'd go in Tools -> Joint Tool, then tick "unlink joint from the skeleton" press ok and then delete it.
I don't know how you would do it in other modelling programs however.
Thanks a ton man, that helped me out a lot :]
