Hello all, I found that Darwinia models are public. But I don't have 3ds max and can't pay for it BUT I have Blender. There is no converter so could somebody that owns 3ds max convert this for me? Thanks.

Why not just sign up for a student copy of 3DS Max? The student copies are free, so there's no issue there.
