I'm working on an explosion reskin for Gmod that replaces the default fire_cloud1 and fire_cloud2 sprites (they make up the default explosions) with animated variants. However, when I'm in-game, it won't recognize fire_cloud1 and replaces all the explosion particles with fire_cloud2. The animations that I'm using are 43 and 51 frames long. Does anybody have any idea why it isn't showing both?

What layers? It's just an animated .VTF file.
Seriously, could I get some help? I can't finish my project if the problem persists.
Send me the VTF and the VMT and I'll take a look at it.
