Hi,i need a tutorial how to port models from skyrim to gmod If somebody know please tell me) Or port model from another game
You need NifTools and some kind of BSA unpacker to get the model from Skyrim into 3ds max. Then you need to convert dds textures to vtf format. Id use Adobe Photoshop with nVidia plugin. For exporting to smd and getting it to gmod im sure youll find many tutorials.
From personal experience, NifTools doesn't seem to be compatible with Skyrim yet. Maybe that's just because I'm still using Max 2010 and its corresponding version of NifTools, maybe not. Still, bear in mind that it may not work at all yet.

I expected that after few months nif tools would be up-to-date too. Guess I was wrong.
Do want!...as long as it's compatible with 3Ds Max 2010 32 or 64 bit...
Here, I copied this from my 3ds max folder. I tested it before I copied it and it worked (again). But this was made months ago, there might be updated version of this on forums where I found this, I think some guy has made this. Sadly I dont remember where I found it. Well damn. You're using 2011?...I've only got 2010. Thanks for the upload, but it won't work with my version...
You don't have to use 3Ds Max, i can port models using XSI Mod Tool, but the program does not look as glamorous as 3DS.
