So I got to wandering, we got halo models, we got warhammer models, we got skyrym, duke nukum, and even mass effect models.
So how come nobody has ported gundam models? It's weird that there is a lack of them around here, And I'm not trying to say, "HEY GUYS, they need to be 500 feet tall and be drivable." I'm just saying we should get some rag doll sized gundams out there for the gmod public.

i had posted some requests threads but nobody ever helped, but Seyiji gave me a links to some gundam models i think mostly from gundam wing but you have to convert them to garrysmod and i have no clue how to do that

Models are not made in 5 minutes, sometimes you require some highly advanced tools, or in some cases, make some tools so that you can extract/port/rip from games.
It's very easy to do requests, it's not as easy fullfilling them.
I can understand the process involved in porting stuff to gmod. I was just wandering why there was a lack of gundam related stuff out there already. Maybe it's just not popular enough anymore or something.

Gmod overall has a western centric audience. You can expect mechwarrior before gundam in that case.
Yeah sure compare the popularity of Halo, Warhammer 40k, Skyrim, Duke Nukem and a Japanese cartoon/videogame (whatever).
what you want me to throw in final fantasy, zelda, and other games that started out in Japan too? People ported models from those games. I'm asking straight answer, not some bigoted one.

Yes, but how popular are Final Fantasy and Zelda games in the west? Compare that to Gundam.

Like most anime things, Gundam probably has quite a dubious foothold in the west.
Yeah obviously Zelda is famous, my point is that Gundam is about as popular in the west as Witcher franchise is in the east.
What are you talking about, Witcher is popular in west too, just wasn't heard a lot often.
Only part of gundam i like, is the Zaku.
Other than that, I think we'll be seeing more Mech warrior soon.

Warhammer only just being notice more, since the lately release games from them.

there were, but some of the were just awful
