Something a little different this time.
Here we have a phaser and a tricorder converted from Star Trek: Elite Force 2.
Two phaser variants.
1. A normal model
2. A vmf loader version
The latter acts like the lasers from vmf loader, except it doesn't do any damage.
You can turn it on and off by using it.
Ragdolls can't be frozen as long as the beam touches them.
(I hope Jinto doesn't mind that i modified one of the lasers.)
The tricorder is just a model.

As the lua related vmf loader version is optional I decided to post it here.

Finally some Star Trek stuff! We've got ships and props from Babylon 5 and Star Wars and stuff from other sci-fi shows, about time some Star Trek models got made.
Is it possible to make these models with animated textures, like some of the Combine props? I'd love to see the sensing bars, buttons and indicators on the tricorder move like they should.

Yes it is.
I thought about it, but decided not to because if this model is used for
comics/screenshots in general, you wouldn't really notice.
Maybe I'll give it a shot.

It seems i have to say it again.
I did NOT MAKE these models or the others.
I just converted them.
The glow was added by me though and i changed the phaser model slightly.
Where does the phaser.vmf file go?

Yes. The [b]Compression[/b] Rifle would be nice. Assuming they are taken from Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force, the Photon Cannon thing and/or grenade launcher would be appreciated as well. :)

Actually I tried that, and it looked pretty good in XSI but the file it exports doesn't work. It's really annoying.
